Afraid of rejection

knowing we had some sort of connection

from my collection

my collection of your perfection

when I'm with you your my protection.

You need no correction

at least to my detection

of your injection

of love and affection

you need no inspection

by objection

you are my reflection

in this world of depression

    This was different. The constant rhyme was really unique in it's own way. You picked gret words but to me the emotion kind of lacked. Love poems are not really my thing unless they hold true beauty and can touch my heart. The flow was good though. Good effort.~mel
