Long Lost Souls

by Nick who Plays Pool   May 11, 2007

Two souls drifted, in an empty part of space
They search forever, at a slow and steady pace
Searching for one another, yet not knowing why
Separate eternally, if only it were a lie.

The souls still seek out, the other soul adrift
Souls meant to be found, left lonely in time to sift
The end of all things sublime, divesting the universes wake
Can be saved, if the souls can combine and re-awake.

The two souls meet, they are solely divine
They come together, and recombine
They form the balance, between humankind
Light and Dark, reform the shattered mind.

Ooh. i like it! very mystical. and deep! the only few things i dont love:
The souls still seek out, the other soul adrift
this makes no sense! you used 'the other' meaning in the first part you meant the one soul.. so it should be singular. i just dont like this line very much...

    and here:
    universes should be universe's

but great job. i think if you made it longer. it'd be fantasmagorical. =]
