Im far from you god

Im far from you god, do you know why?
Does it even phase you, in your throne in the sky?
What am i given, that i should be glad for?
Where is this life? Why bow down and adore?
What is it that You, my lord have in store?
Maybe you don't hear me, or my prayers you ignore.
Each time i'm victorious, my fame turns to shame.
When the sun warms my lips,
you bring down the rain.
When a smile melts my heart,
you turn it to pain.
Have i shed to many tears?
Are you trying to make me tough?
or maybe though all these years,
i have not shed enough...
