Doubt.

by pseudo   May 12, 2007

Words scribbled across the paper.
Another line in your song.
A memory faded forever.
Another right in your wrong.

And words of the heart,
Could never sound so fake
But they resound in your head.
As you lie awake.

Smiles and laughter still echos.
Though doubt fills your mind
But you're too careless to ponder.
What there's left to find.

Naievity takes over your body.
Almost in a stage of a trance.
Blinding you from the truth,
And weakening your stance

You try to trust,
Let down the wall.
But you know, with one wrong move,
You can lose it all.

The neverending cycle
Of a smile and a frown.
Could bring you so high
Only to crumble you down.

Thanks for Reading.
