I'll Show You

by Anne Garcia   May 13, 2007

I don ' t want to listen
To what you ' re going to say
I won ' t pay attention
Because I hear it everyday

So why don ' t you leave
I don ' t want to see you anymore
Not one of your words will I believe
So why don ' t you just walk out the door

I won ' t be your door mat
And let you walk all over me
No you won ' t treat me like that
Because I ' ll make you see

I ' ll show you who I really am
I ' ll show you what I can be
I ' ll show you that I can
And what I ' ll do, just so you would see

I will fly across the clear blue sky
And I ' ll paint a whole new rainbow
I ' ll stop the time from flying by
So that our fun will never go

I ' ll stop the waves from crashing in the sand
And I ' ll stop the wind going through the trees
I ' ll show you where I stand,
I ' ll show you, you ' ll see

Is always a good way to make a poem.

I think most people are familiar with this type of rhymescheme, it's wonderful is it not?

Anyway, good poem. I don't know whether or not this is in the right section, but good poem still.

    Keep up the good work.

I really liked that stanza, it was descriptive and it had a pretty good flow to it. If only we could stop time aye! Great poem :]
