Stained Darkness

by caitlin   May 13, 2007

Smoke, lights, flahes reels her mind back to it
vicious slaps send her to the wall, picked up she's thrown down.
beating upon beating she receives as she clasps her hands in prayer for her god and angels.
blue eyes frost as warm helping hands offer towards her
shying away she turns her head, leaning, waiting, wanting the slaps
run, flee, go, he can't hurt y ou anymore
used she was by him, body and heart he stole
broken now she wants to end it all
diving into the frozen depths she smiles
ghostly lips whisper "why"
softly going she floats away from this world
happy soul she now is
innocence she one had returns safely without hesitation
mystery girl she was living in the big house with blue shutters
