Creatures; of eternal sleep

by Tiff   May 13, 2007

Shards of glass
Pierced through already wounded skin,
Yet not bleeding.

It's not that simple,
These children of eternal sleep
Gaze upon there untouched beds.

Dresses stained; red
These creatures fade at sunrise
And are no where to be seen.

Blood is brushed upon there skin
The night sky is there yard of doom,
These winged children; cry, as everyday is pain.

There everywhere,
The night sky's full;
Highlighting others with there dark glowing eyes.

There ears prick up straight
As sound of motion emerges;
Beating wings; flying.

There prey is seen,
One black eternal sleeper;
Flies in for the kill, bites victim on the neck, flesh.

Deep.

Blood spills everywhere,
Screaming fills the air
The creatures victim weakens.

Death... Has now occurred
These dark immortal creatures,
Fly back into the night sky.
