Really seeing?

by Stephanie Naylor   May 13, 2007

He glances around
and sees the face in the crowd,
that he once remembered so vividly.
Fierce feeling came rolling back.
All he wanted to do was just reach out and touch her velvet skin once more.

Seeing his love disappear into
the faces.
As she looked right threw him,
as though he never stood there.
His mind going mad.

His heart pounds
his palms start to sweat.
He twirls in circles
screaming out her name.
Thinking hopefully
she'll come back.

He falls to his knees.
locks his head between his hands.
Rocking his body Violently back in-forth.
Rain begins to fall,
a perfect ending to a perfect
feeling.
Knowing he did not see her face
for he had berried his wife long ago.

berried should be buried. Other than that it flows fast, and the emtion is strong. excellent job on a well written poem 5/5
