Vivid blue

by Stephanie Naylor   May 13, 2007

Vivid Blue
A once in a lifetime moon,
Shattered innocence,
A haunting familiar tune,
Snow covered roads,
Familiar as friends yet,
Cold and hard as an assassins blade,

One memory flooding back,
A time,
A place,
A choice made in haste,
One night,
One life
One chance taken,

Open wounds are bandaged by time,
Yet these sleeping demons awaken.
