Universal Life

by I - O - W - A   May 13, 2007

Fear, regret and hate
Mind consumed by fate
Always wondering if its too late
Wishing you never took the bait
In the mind we contemplate
If its too fast at this rate
But in the end we realise
And stare blankly into his eyes
Watch as the fear flies
Along with the laughter and crys
He stares back and shows how many trys
We tell him there's too many lies
We tell him whats in our heads
All the times we wished was dead
And we saw nothing but red
All the times we where falsely led
All the times we feared to tread
And the times we didn't want to wed
The situation full of greed
And how our milk white steed
Turned to brown at his heed
How we wished we could be freed
He explained the situation was of need
And for that we falsely agreed
But on that day we saw
How everything became so raw
Across our face there was a frown
As the world around us came crashing down.
