    How foolish these mortals be, to give themselves to a requited love that does not exist. Cue the evil cackle.

    I wrote this to personify the incessant and mind-forged lust that people create when they come across scenarios of temptation.
    People give their entire selves far too frequently, and their lovers' eyes view nothing but perfection, simply because they don't want to see anything besides it. This only leads to the shattering of dreams, hopes, lives, and trust.
    Because of this I used the idea of the old norse legend, the Valkyrie, who lures the heroes of the land into their doom with seductive temptation.
