Still There

The girl whispers softly
a melody in the air
but no ones there to listen
nobody seems to care

but if someone heard the whisper
then maybe it would turn into a song
then maybe she would have a future
cause death doesn't have you live long

and everyday she softly smiles
you wouldn't know that it is fake
she is hiding within herself
withstanding the worlds take

You would have never know what she whispered
yet her song would be stuck inside
You would think about her all day long
wondered why she shyed
