Mom

by ImNotPerfect20   May 14, 2007

Everything you are I truly look up to you.
You were the one who gave me life.
Even if we fight, thats normal.
Mother and daughter this is it.

You're my mom and everything that I am.
When my ex hurt me you were there,
I cried on your shoulder because you cared.

You taught me how to walk,
how to talk and dress.
You were there to see me grow,
helped me with everything I needed to know

Mom I may fight with you but I want you to know
I will never give up because you care.
You cheer me on when I needed it.
Helped me with my homework when I struggled

Everything you do it appreciated
I just might not show it right away
I try my hardest to be perfect for you
Everything I do is so you will be happy.

Just this once I wanted you to know.
That I am trying my hardest to get through college
and to make it on my own.
Everything you say does not get lost.

Just wanted to let you know I hear you.

Very sweet job. It's always nice to read about somebody feeling appreciation towards a family member. I really enjoyed reading.
