No Regret

by Little Lisa   May 14, 2007

A thunder storm is starting to brew,
He looks at her and says this is all because of you,
Rain starts to drizzle down her face,
She knows that she should not be in the place,
The lightening strikes, the thunder rolls,
All his anger is starting to take its toll,
Another loud thunderous boom,
She hits the ground, takes a glance around the room,
A door soon catches her eye,
She knows she has to escape if she doesn't want to die,
As she starts to make her way,
She spots a gun and thinks of how she'll make him pay,
Reaching for it slowly, she thinks of a plan,
She rises to take her stand,
Everything goes blank as she turns around,
The clouds clear, there is no sound,
She walks out the door with no regret,
A new day ahead, a night she plans to forget.
