I will wait for her

by Fsams   May 14, 2007

Like an angel she came to my life
With lots of desire I wished her to be my wife
I didn't know whether she loved me
But surely I carried a torch for her

In the still of the night
When the giant waves fought
I kept dreaming about her
About the day she would be mine

But a bird came and took her away
Before I could proceed on my way
It's my fault I delayed to propose
And now the inevitable has happened

But I'm still satisfied
For I see her in my dreams
Though I don't talk to her
I talk to her in my dreams

Though I miss her much
I always wish her luck
I'll still wait for her on my way
Holding my emotions till the doomsday

Greatly penned, the poem started off satisfactery getting stronger as it went, and ending it off with a very powerful stanza. The poem was amazing, though, to imporve, you might want to work on the stanza,

    "But I'm still satisfied
For I see her in my dreams
Though I don't talk to her
I talk to her in my dreams"

    all in all, great poem!
