Since i was a little girl all I've ever wanted is to be free
to love someone have them by your side
someone to hold you at night
be able to do whatever i please
and not be locked away from the world
when i got a bit older all i ever wanted was to be free
have one friend to take care of me
to tell secrets to
to go shopping and wear party clothes
and not to be covered in bruises
now all i wish for is to be freed
have a caring family a best friend and a boyfriend
who will never turn their back on me
but..................................
i no longer wish..........i have a best friend and a boyfriend who help me through my darkened days...........one day when I'm older i will be totally free and i will pick out a star and name it after them because they showed me the way when i was lost..............then one day if we are not together and they get lost that star will gide there way
