Ugly little secrets Tormented from deep inside The pin is my savior Cause it never lied I trust no one Yet I trust the blade It never forsakes me It's always at my aid Frees me from doubt Helps me avoid hate Banishes the sorrow Displaces thoughts that make me irate This hurt inside never ends I fear it will last forever Engulfed by painful memories I wish I could sever My pin calls my name The need to bleed grows stronger Emotions keep building up I can't hold out much longer Slashes ease away the blinding internal pain As warm droplets hit the floor A reassurance of life until the next day When I'll just do it more.
