Break Free

by ShootingStar179   May 14, 2007

Stop and listen to nature,
The stars shine every dark night,
No worry befalls upon them about burning out,
Nothing stops these lights from burning bright.

Birds also fly oh so high my dear,
How will one fly being weighed down?
Weighed down by disatrous fear,
Breathe in the sweet scent of carefree air.

So, friend, if the birds and stars live free,
Why would such a shooting star such as yourself,
Lessen joy and prosperity for insecurity,
Life is only what you make of it.

Break down the shackles of tumultous stress,
Smile like you mean it for that can move mountains,
You are worth so much more than restlessness,
Release the power within to succeed.

What a beautiful write full of hope. Imagery is great.

    Stop and listen to nature,
The stars shine every dark night,
No worry befalls upon them about burning out,
Nothing stops theses lights from burning bright.

Love the opening stanza. The message of not letting anything hold you back is great.
    Take care Cindy
