Why can't i forget you

I thought that you cared,
you said we were meant to be.
Most important of all you said that you loved me.
i believed you when you said that you cared,
when you said that i could trust you.
But its almost a year later,
and I'm still so heart broken.
And for some reason i keep falling back for you.
I know you're games, you a lying, cheater.
So you think that i would know better.

I've been hurt by you before, my pain still hasn't gone.
Why can't i just forget you, and you're memory just slip away.
I wish i had never meat you, maybe then i wouldn't keep falling in love with you.
Because I'm lost with confusion, i definitely don't want to hurt again. Why can't i forget you, why can't you're memory just slip away?
