What a intense poem. Imagery and word choices excellent as always.

    Dark entrenched a soul's torment
Clothes of Heaven bleak and rent
    Coldest slab in deep repose
Bled and dry false lover's rose

These lines really spoke to me. Your talent is amazing :)

Blow the gale of heartache's sorrow
    Mourning tree of lost tomorrows
    Marble writ in torment rests
    Chosen path of no regrets

^^ ah the ending was so strong and purposeful. well done.

    5/5 David

Extremely spine-chilling, Ms. Debbie. It infuses a variety of dreary emotions, most notably the sorrowful quality of its diction and grasp. Recollecting the past is nerve-wracking sometimes...

"Blow the gale of heartache's sorrow"

How those lines strike a chord with me! I can just visualize myself being slapped by this gust.

'Twas a magnificent work of art. My pleasure to read one of your latest works, once again. Thank you for sharing! Love, Debbie

This piece well examines the dimly lit place of the heart, more commonly known as “the void”; one of the abuses from which the void feeds comes from giving and not receiving, and placing unwarranted trust in someone.

You give into its dark ambiance masterfully. This embossment attracts me with its sweet sorrow.
