Outside [Acrostic]

by Infected with His Deadly Love   May 14, 2007

Oh what a beautiful site
Under the sun, shinning so bright
Trees and flowers, such wonderful things
Silently singing, the birds with wings
Innocent animals playing so quietly
Day after day they are killed so violently
Everyone ignores it and goes on silently

Acrostic Poetry is where the first letter of each line spells a word, usually using the same
words as in the title.

I loved how this was short but made a point. it kind of ended without even giving the poem an ending though. you know what i mean? but still good job. 4/5

Oh I like this one. Very well written, the imagery speaks for itself :). However, I'm not too sure about the line: "the birds with wings"- it doesn't seem to fit as well as everything else in the poem. Although, I currently have no alternatives in my head to suggest to you. I'll have to get back to you when I think of something! Haha, very well done on this one, anyway :)!
