My Prince, My Dove

Torn between
The men I love
One a prince
One a Dove

My prince was there
In my time of need
My dove flew off
Left my heart to bleed

For my Dove
Had a love of his own
He went to her
And left me alone

My prince, he held me
until my tears paused
He can not see them now
He is not the cause

I know that my dove
can feel my pain
He sends me his best
Though he can not be tamed

I will be a princess
By the end of the day
But I will watch for my dove
Through this cloak of pain
