Never Again

by Jordan   May 15, 2007

We made promises that we did not keep.
We put light in the hearts of millions, then we watched it be consumed by darkness.
We send money and act like there will be no more problems.
As rain pours down on us today, each drop represents a life that is taken away.
We look at the ground as to deny the truth because we want to live without caring but also without shame.
We live in a society with walls as far and high as the eye can see.
We choose to forget rather then admit.
We go about life without pride, honor, and that quality is important.
