I realized a simple truth today
I don't need to open up to you
I don't need to pry open my heart
And shed light on all the shadows
I don't need to tell you every secret
Tell you of every tear
And when I cry I don't need to cry to you

I don't need your voice to comfort me

I can cry into my own hands
I can speak my own comforts
I can stand with out your arms to hold me

I can hide the secrets
I can speak them to the night's shadows

I can find my way
I can fly away
I can find my happiness

I know what I need

I'm lost in what I want

But for now I want you
I'll find your place later
But for now my place is with you
