Ice cream

by malina   May 15, 2007

Smelling the fresh air
i can almost see it clearly
when i was a little girl
asking for ice cream

sitting on the bench
thinking i was so happy
that there was nothing else
that i would need

closing my eyes
i can still hear my daddy
asking what kind of
ice cream

i felt like i was in a paradise
and i was in such a bliss
now i can see it clearly
daddy it's still you that i miss

I love how it didn't conceal that much, whereas it speaks volumes! Your longing to see this person, again, is quite evident in this piece, considering now that you're reminiscing the good times... Very nice write. =)
    Take care now.
