Each and every year
There is just one special day
For every mother young or old
So their children have a chance to say

"Thank you for all your kindness
All your love and support
Thank you for your protection
In every battle I've ever fought

Thank you for clothing me, feeding me,
Making me who I am today"
It's a chance to show you they love you
And it is infact Mothers Day

Now I, myself don't have a mother
So I can't say that every year
I continuously dread this holiday, but can't stop it
As it is already here

So, if I can think of just one other person
Who deserves gratitude on this day of May
It should be no one other than you Grandma
