Look into the Mirror

by Christie   May 15, 2007

Look into the mirror, tears glide from your eyes,
Scars hidden on your legs, laughing when you cried.
Just as you would like to the tears slowly fall,
Imagining your body limp as you run from it all.

Its sitting in your pocket, hot against your leg,
You always try to yell no but you can hear it beg.
It seems like a good time to wallow in the pain,
So shutting your door you get it out again.

Staring at the floor you slowly hang your head,
As the massive pain envelopes, you lay back on your bed.

Just as you wanted, you slowly run out of breath,
Lightly carressed by deaths cold fingers running along your neck.
Step away from ur body, and glide into the hall,
You've done what you've lately wanted, no suffering anymore.

Look into the mirror, tears glide from her eyes,
Memories hidden behind her wall, laughing when she cries.
Just as she would like to, her tears slowly fall,
Imagining his body limp, when he ran from it all.
