My Gothic Heart {Double Triolet}

by dollwithafrown   May 15, 2007

My gothic heart, why do you cry?
Dripping blood, as dark as your fears
Please open up; we don't know why
My gothic heart, why do you cry?
Spread your wings, reach up and fly
Say goodbye to all those tears
My gothic heart, why do you cry?
Dripping blood, as dark as your fears

My gothic heart, why don't you sleep?
The night is a precious time
I never knew wounds could be so deep
My gothic heart, why don't you sleep?
You stay so secluded; don't make a peep
We know that life is one big climb
My gothic heart, why don't you sleep?
The night is a precious time
