Savior

by Midnight Sun   May 15, 2007

I want to fall asleep in your arms
And wake up in your eyes
I want my tears to warrant your kiss
And that kiss to stop my cries

I need your heart to be my sanctuary
And your love to be my playground
I need you to totally complete me
And my loss to be what you found

Please be there when I call your name
And save me from the evil that dwells here
Be my strong tower in which to hide
And my courage when I only feel fear

You are my knight in shining armor
Yes you're saving a damsel in distress
You are the only order and law within me
When my life is a confusing mess

You are my Hero, Light, and Savior...I love you!

Amazing!!!! I agree with charisma and gem- beautiful, suberb. I loved the opening lines:
I want to fall asleep in your arms
And wake up in your eyes
    ....
The switch there is just great, and the phrase" wake up in your eyes" holds so much meaning. I can feel the longing in your words.
    another favorite line is
please be there when i call your name.

you have mirrored so exactly what i have felt many times. what we have all felt. truly an outstanding job.
