Ill Be Waiting

by Tylor Dent   May 15, 2007

In the middle of the night.
When I cant seem to get to sleep.
There's something on my mind.
And I'm thinking very deep.

A glimmer of light from the moon.
Shines when I look out at the stars.
And I wonder if you're looking at them.
Where ever you are.

I'm afraid to go to sleep.
Cause you're always in my dreams.
And the only time I'm happy.
Is when ever you're with me.

I wish I could of forwarded to the future.
So I would've known it would end like this.
It was me who always had to say sorry.
After everything I did.

I know deep inside.
That you love me very much.
But how could you just take my heart.
And stomp on it till it crushed.

If you care as much as you say you do.
Wouldn't you be here.
Instead of in the arms of someone else.
And letting all the memories we made suddenly disappear.

You want me to let go.
But you don't know how hard it really is.
Cause I fell in love with you at first sight.
When ever we were kids.

Everyday that passes.
I only love you more.
And you're the first person.
To ever make me feel this way before.

So when ever you look out the window.
And glance up at the sky.
When you see the moon shine so bright.
And when all the shooting stars pass you by.

Remember I'm thinking of you.
If I ever cross your mind.
Just know ill never give up.
And ill be waiting till you're once again mine.
