His Female Disease (Acrostic)

by Simple Sensation   May 15, 2007

He was a boy who felt he needed a little bit of control;
Inside he was screaming, when his father's belt hit him
Shout he did, but no one could hear.

From this abuse, the shell of this boy,
Emerged. Fighting for a little bit of control...
Making his way through large crowds
All alone was he. Innocence was stolen
Left all alone, his need for control quickly developed -
Entered had he, into a world of a female disease.

Dying was he; starving his body. "manorexia".
Inside his muscles wasted away,
Still his thirst for control, he kept on going.
Entered into a world of depression, yet he was in control...
And then his heart suddenly stopped.
So much had happened, used and abused was he. And -
Entered had he, into a world of female disease.

    So sad, so well written. I loved the message behind the poem. it is true that most people think of women, and girls when they think of abused and those with ed's. The poem you wrote, was excellent, and descriptive, I feel for the little boy I do. Tahnks for all the comments, by the way I like this user name alot better. It has a ring to it. 5/5 for your words are always a treasure to read.
