Intrigue

by Tate LaBianca   May 15, 2007

Falling
in love
with a shallow plaything
A puppet on a string
A one-time diversion
I don't even really know.

More
than just
a skin-deep attraction
My weekly distraction
I try to find a glimpse
of the seeds of Love I wish to sow

Smiling
at me
with wicked intentions
And my heart's dissension
Is wilted away
With one single kiss

I want
so badly
to find that I
am more than just
another willing
partner-
plaything

Because
no matter how much
I deny it,
You
are already so much more to me..
