Dad, its me, your little girl

by Woe   May 15, 2007

The look on your face,
tells me everything.
I'm a disgrace,
doing nothing.
What can I do,
to make you proud?
I'll do it for you,
just tell me how.
I look for love,
In the depths of your eyes,
I see none,
please, tell me why.
Dad, It's me,
Your little girl.
You brought me here,
into this world.
Yes, I'm tough,
but my heart's on the floor,
I've had enough,
I can't take anymore.

I found this to be a very emotional write young lady, even for this dad of a teenage daughter. Please take a moment to read a few of mine. You may find the shoe is on the other foot in my case. May your heart once again be filled with peace and joy each and everyday.
