Coming Back For More

Why is it so hard
to forget you are there?
To forget you even exist
forget you USED to care?

When will I be able
to leave you in the past?
To leave behind the hurt
you caused so quick, so fast.

I know it wont be soon
Because i see you everyday.
You mess around with me
like my feelings are just a game.

When are you going to realize
you can't leave then just come back?
because every time you do
the pieces of my heart are no longer in tact.

But I'm going to put my heart on the line once more
and just hope you don't hurt me again
Because just one more time
and my heart will never mend.
