Like an iceberg on the water

by Infected with His Deadly Love   May 16, 2007

A little girl sitting alone, she waits
Waiting for someone to save her
From this horrible nightmare
[Like an iceberg on the water]

She can't take the beatings anymore
They hurt her far too much
She just sits there trembling
[Like an iceberg on the water]

She doesn't understand
What she has done wrong
For her parents to hurt her so
[Like an iceberg on the water]

She trembles as she waits
For her parents to come home
As the tears start to flow
[Like an iceberg on the water]

Her parents arrive home drunk
They beat her again and again
But this will be the last time
For now she is not breathing
[Like an iceberg on the water]

Wow...This is just wow. I mean it's bad for parents to beat her up but I was saying how emotional this was because I can clearly see how hard it was for the little girl. It's just, wow. 5/5
