Rain

by Fsams   May 16, 2007

The world becomes dark
The sky begins to spark
The clouds start to fight
Sending us sparkling light

Here begins a drizzle
The roofs begin to sizzle
Leaves start to dance
Never to miss the chance

But the drizzle evolves to a heavy rain
Drenching us and leaving us in pain
Making the roads muddy
Aching the insects with fear

The rainy drops splatter
The crickets, frogs flatter
Later it begins to abate
When decided by fate

The wind slowly dwindles blowing
As the rain slowly dwindles flowing
Finally the sun creeps to appear
While the dark rainy clouds disappear

I love the imagery you created in this, I found it to be very vivid and pretty.

The message behind these words is wonderfully portrayed, and the flow is okay throughout.

The only thing I didn't like was the constant use of the word ''the.''

    Other than that, beautiful.
