I CLOSE MY EYES
I close my eyes and wish away my pain,
I need a reason to why this goes on and on feeling the same
I look hard I look deep I realize I’m the one to blame.
To many times I keep the problems concealed,
Hiding them so they won’t be revealed
Burying them deep inside hoping that they would go away
But once again I realise that this wasn’t the way.
I know my life can be frustrating
I know life can be difficult at times,
But it’s so hard to go through each day,
When all I want to do is break down and cry.
