Prince Charming.

by MaeThomas   May 16, 2007

He swept me off my feet; he twirled me 'round the room
He helped me to believe
That dreams aren't just for sleeping
And wishes do come true.

But now my Prince has gone,
Found another to fill my place.
And here I lay in slumber,
In Snow White's crystal case.

In dreams I still am hoping
That he'll return to set me free,
But no rescues are forthcoming,
"Not important now", said he.

Now the crystal is cracked and dirty,
My gown is torn and frayed.
And perhaps I would be breathing,
If only I'd been saved.

Awh that really is sad! :( Its good. I liked the rhyming and I suppose it had good flow. Not my area of expertise but really good job :)
