An eternity from now.

by Strange Angel   May 16, 2007

One day the future will become the past, and then where will we be?
It seems that past can't be forgotten as easily as I thought,
And now I am left filled with emptiness in your wake.
You've left and won't come back
But I can accept that and move on.
The only thing I cannot fix, are these wounds you left me with
That rip me open so wide
Every time I dare to remember you face
The gaping hollowness that threatens to swallow me and not give me back
And I cannot heal this time.

So I'll leave this world of love
And hide in the shadows of grief
Until one day, an eternity from now
It might not hurt quite so much.

    That was beautiful, really good.
    Amazing, so full of emotion.
    a def. 5/5
