She stands as the wind whips the sail
She basks in the morning light
Water sparkling bright
Hearing the call of the birds flying high
Never has she seen such a beautiful sky
Then comes a call from down below
Come join us in this deep blue sea
This place shrouded in mystery
A sharp cry and the blink of an eye
Plunged in the water gasping for air
Only to find she need not fear
Taking a look around her in awe of this strange new world
Dark caverns, sunken ships and even pearls
Creatures of every shape and kind
Things that would blow your mind
Such peace and tranquility
But beware lurking dangers and adversity
Heading for the sandy bottom
Picking up a shell along the way
Watching a school of fish and a turtle swim the bay
Alas a dark shadow looms
She gets that feeling that sense of doom
Suddenly
Enormous creatures on every side
She must get away
She must hide
Faster and faster she swims
But it's no use
Once they catch her she'll never be loose
Hot breath on her legs
They grab her
She screams and begs
One's ready to bite
She kicks and she fights
To no avail
Closing her eyes
She lets out a scream
Then sits up in bed
It was all a dream
But the shell in her hand what does it mean???
