In love with the past

by Woe   May 16, 2007

The moments pass,
the days go by.
She fakes a smile,
she lives a lie.

He still says "hey"
when he walks by,
but since that day,
she won't reply

She acts so tough,
so they believe,
but without his love,
she's "heart on sleeve"

He broke her heart,
with all his lies.
She fell apart,
and still she cries.

So long ago,
and still it hurts.
The pain still grows,
as the lies get worse.

She doesn't know,
how long this will last.
She can't let go,
she's in love with the past.
