Breaking the Habit

by Wasted Fake Smiles   May 16, 2007

My addiction. My obsession. You're taking over me.
My future. My past. The presence of our memories.
You loved me. You don't now. We are said and done.
You hurt me. You were sorry. Smiling in the sun.

This is the day I say goodbye to you forever,
Breaking the habit of dreaming of us together.
No more waiting up all night thinking of you,
No more wondering if you still love me too.

It's over. It's done now. I'll get over it with time.
It's simple, you broke me. I know you aren't mine.
You made me cry when you said goodbye,
You made me cry when you said those lies.

This is the day I say goodbye to you for good,
Breaking the habit like I knew that I should.
I'm not waiting for your call...waiting by the phone.
Not waiting for you anymore. I'm fine being alone.

~*Who Cares?*~
yeah. partly true. i love him. he hurt me. but i'm not over him. nor will i ever be most likely
