My god sent angel left.

I looked at the one bright star in the sky,

and I prayed for God to send me someone,

someone loving, someone sweet, someone caring,

God sent him to me and my world changed forever,

I fell in love and thought he was truly made for me,

he was everything I had ever wanted and had ever dreamed of,

he was different from everyone else he cared, he loved, and he was trustworthy

something about him made my heart melt to pieces every time we talked,

I really thought he was my God sent Angel,

we were made for each other,

we had the same interests, the same favorite things, even the same opinions,

he was my world,

then something happened, I'm not even sure what it was,

but he was gone,

my world came crashing down upon me,

the worst pain I had ever felt,

he was gone, and I was alone with my memories,

tears fell like rain and memories flashed like lightening,

my God sent Angel was gone forever,

and I'm back to where I began,

wishing on that same bright star
