This is my apology
For what I did to you
Because I no longer no what to say
Or even what I am to do

I'm not quite sure
Where I should even begin
I held her hand
I committed a love sin

What I was thinking
I'm not quite sure
Because it is you I love
And most certainly not her

Then why did I do
That treacherous misdeed
I can assure you my dear
It was not a lie I wanted to lead

I see the way you look at me
Like I'm some ignorant youth
Now that you know
The terrible truth

Yet, I don't blame you
I deserve every glare
The way that I treated you
Was just so unfair

I know you don't believe me
When I tell you I won't do it again
But how could I now
After the way my life has been

Committing the same crime twice
I simply could not do
Because I don't love her
I only love you
