Save me from the blackest stars,
All I know are blood and scars,
Lost in a world where no one cares,
A broken soul, there's nothing there,

Faded, bruised, a shattered past,
Melt my heart of iron cast,
Til every little piece dissolves,
This is too far, it can't resolve,

afraid to love, afraid to feel,
This is too good, it can't be real,
Losing sight of sanity...
Damn my thoughts of vanity,

Lost in love's divine caress,
Afraid of lies and loneliness,
A broken past that all could see,
A far from perfect, shattered me.

Me and my sister (In Spite Of Love) wrote this, she wrote the last too lines in each stanza.
