A Hope Already Dead.

by Sarah Ann   May 17, 2007

You love me, break me, leave me
Leave me waiting, weeping, lost
Blood is flowing, I digress
In this silly, hopeless mess
Of surface brewing, deferred dreams
Tearing faster at the seams
Funnel clouds, submerge the trees
Weakness spreads like a disease
Where the answers do not stay,
No one sees the world decay,
Between a screen of spun glass threads
And a hope already dead.

[A poem with mixed feelings and meaning. Comment and I will return the favor.]

    I love this...
It is beautifully written, very powerful and hardhitting, word choice is a joy to read and the flow is flawless throughout.

Beautiful poem. You shouldn't write poems with deep meaning. I just might figure you out. great job
