Reflecting You

I'm just a mere reflection
of the love you give to me
Inside this heart there blossoms
Your love eternally

With each sweet word you whisper
against my waiting ear
I hear the love you give to me
It's ringing loud and clear.

With tenderness you do caress
my heart, my soul, my mind
I know the love comes freely
And at any given time.

To wish for love more earnestly
Would be a hopeless case
Because you give me everything
And give it with such grace.

Not once do you remind me of
the times I hold the doubt
Unfaithful in the knowledge of
Your love turned inside out.

You keep me here with tender love
Wrapped in your arms so tight
Lending comfort to my soul
As you hold me through the night.

    This is a very beautiful reflective moments im sure everyone can relate to this. I just sat after i read it thinking of times when we and my girlfriend are like that, it makes you stop and think and be greatful. Thank you for reminding me of those moments

    This is absolutly beautiful. This poem is full of such a beautiful love. Imagery and word choice are excellent. Apoem like this warms the heart and soul.
