For my Mum

I want to post this one as I would appreciate your comments because this one is for my Mum and I intend to frame it and give it to her for her birthday.

A poem just for you Mum ,
you mean so very much to me.
I love you with all my heart ,
thats how it will always be.
We may not always see eye to eye ,
our ups and downs we've had along the way.
Not always have we agreed with each other ,
have said things we never meant to say.
I've not always been the perfect daughter ,
maybe I should have listened more.
Now with kids of my own I do see ,
that being mum isn't easy thats for sure.
So thanks mum for being you ,
and always being there for me.
With your birthday almost here ,
I hope a special one it will be.

Just to let you all know my mum loved it and it actually brought a tear to her eye.Thank you for all your comments each and every one of them were very much appreciated.If it wasn't for the comments made by the many talented writers on here I would not have the confidece to write myself.
