Why is the world such a cruel place?
why do children get hurt?
why do parents fight?
why does everything happen to me?
it feels like that
i mean look at my life
i was in foster care when i was 3
i didn't move home until i was 7
then my mom went to jail
only 3 years later
i was then left with
my grandma and aunt
i was only 14 when i lived with her again
then my house was raided a year later
there was stuff that happened in between
so why
why is the world such a cruel place?

    Hey it's katie. I don't why the world is such a cruel place, but you did an really good job about describing how screwed up it is. I almost want to cry for you when I read this poem, because you have told me about some of these things, and I can't say I know how you feel about all of them, but I do know some of what you're going through, and I hope that things will work out for you ;(
