Reflections

Beautiful reflections
Flickering in sunlight
Creating a sense of peace
On an otherwise hectic day

Willow trees dip their tresses
In water of indigo blue
Swaying side to side
In a hypnotising fashion

Feelings of melancholy drift
Away on a pleasant breeze
Leaving liberty for pleasure
To achieve it's place

Delicate puffs of clouds
Floating lazily past
Complimenting these trickling
Sounds of gliding water

Such beautiful reflections
Flickering in moonlight
Creating a sense of serenity
That resides in us all

Such serene ambiance induces a sense of respite in my -chaotic- mind. (Coughs.) This poem is perfectly admiring. I specially adore the imagery you had created and the simplicity in substance and style. Bravo! Love, Debbie
